I had the honor of creating the logo and brand guidelines of the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE). MBHTE is the education department of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), a region in the Philippines.
The Logo
Versatility in various uses and applications was one of the main tasks when the logo was made. The logo at first glance had to show MBHTE's role in overseeing the Bangsamoro education system and its scope being the entire BARMM. These were achieved through the use of universal symbols: a book and pen for education and the Islam crescent moon representing the Bangsamoro people. Elements used in the logo are also found in the MBHTE seal, creating familiarity on the overall Ministry brand.
